With its coves, unspoiled nature, sandy beach and clean water, Lake Van in the Gevaş district of Van has become a center of attraction for nature lovers.
The coves of Lake Van welcome nature lovers who have been overwhelmed by the extreme temperatures lately. The coves, which are frequented by visitors with their deep blue water, clean sandy beaches, cool air and lush nature, are among the places where those who want to camp spend time. Nature lovers who came to Ağin Bay as part of the excursion program organized by the Vadi Nature Sports Club Association spent three days walking around the area.
Association President Ömer Demez told Anadolu Agency that İnköyü and Ağin region, located in the Van Lake basin, are among the important bays of Turkey. Stating that nature lovers are amazed by the natural beauty of the bays, Demez said, “We have been at the camp here for 3 days. We walked for 3 hours on the mountain road. The absence of a driveway keeps this place untouched. We came in three groups. This place has a unique nature. The sunset and the cleanliness of the beach fascinate people.”
Muhammed Türken said, “It is a very beautiful geography that everyone should come and see. Since people can’t come often, there are many wild animals from wild fruits here. The bays are clean and beautiful. It’s a beautiful geography. This place needs to be protected and brought into tourism,” he said.
